3L Oak Aging Barrel with Stand, Bung & Spigot - Wooden Cask for Wine & Spirits

About this barrel

Between the mini and one-gallon sizes, this 3L oak aging barrel is a middle ground. It works faster than a big cask but holds more than a mini barrel. It's new and comes with a stand, bung and spigot.

Is a 3L oak aging barrel better for wine or spirits?

The seller lists it for both. Spirits are the more common use at this size. Wine needs closer watching, because it can turn overly woody in a small barrel.

• It holds four standard 750 ml bottles, enough for a batched cocktail or two.
• The spigot makes sampling and serving simple.
• Swell it with water before the first fill.
• Check the listing for the toast or char level.

It's listed at $151.99, and eBay purchases are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
