0.8 Liter Visualized Oak Aging Barrel with Stand, Bung, Wooden Mini Whiskey B...

About this barrel

At just 0.8 liters, or about one standard bottle of spirit, this 0.8 liter oak aging barrel is at the tiny end of home casks. It's listed new with a stand and bung, and the seller calls it 'visualized'. Check the photos to see exactly what that means.

How fast does a 0.8 liter oak barrel age whiskey?

Very fast. With so little liquid touching so much wood, flavor can build in days, so tasting often matters more than with any larger barrel.

• Swell it with water first, since tiny barrels dry out quickly between uses.
• It's a good size for finishing one bottle of bourbon, rum or tequila.
• It makes a compact desk or shelf gift for a spirits fan.
• Confirm the char level and whether a spigot is included in the listing.

It's listed at $154.85 and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
