About this barrel

A brandy aging barrel rewards patience, and this 20L vertical oak model gives you a faucet and bracket to manage it. The listing is new, priced at $95.50, and also names whiskey and rum.

How long should you age brandy in a 20L barrel?

There's no fixed answer. Wood contact speeds up as barrel size shrinks, and 20 liters is on the smaller side of a full cask. Taste every few weeks, keep notes, and bottle when the flavor suits you.

• Capacity: 20 liters, around 5.3 gallons.
