Pooch Hooch Saint Bernard 0.5L Keg Dispenser Charred Oak Aging Dog Collar

About this barrel

The Pooch Hooch Saint Bernard 0.5L keg dispenser borrows the old image of a mountain rescue dog with a little cask on its collar and turns it into a charred oak aging keg for your shelf. At half a liter, it's one of the smallest barrels you can age in.

What can you do with a 0.5L charred oak keg?

Mellow a small batch of whiskey, brandy or rum in days to weeks instead of months. The tiny size and the char work fast, so taste it often.

• Prep: soak it with water until the joints stop weeping, then drain and fill.
• Collar detail: the title mentions a dog collar. Check the photos to see whether it's included or how it attaches.
• Capacity: about 0.5L, roughly two-thirds of a standard bottle.
• Gift fit: a natural pick for Saint Bernard owners and dog lovers who enjoy a drink.
