5L/1.32Gal Aging Barrel Wooden Whiskey Barrel Bourbon Wine Barrel For Home

About this barrel

At $24.53, this 5 liter oak whiskey barrel is a low-cost way to start aging bourbon at home. It holds 1.32 gallons, and the title lists wine as well. It's sold new by an independent eBay seller.

Is a lower-priced 5 liter oak whiskey barrel worth it?

It can be, as long as it holds liquid and you like what the wood does to your spirit. Since the price is low, read the description carefully for build details.

• Look for the char level, the hoops and whether a spigot or stand is included.
• Do a water test: fill it, wait and watch for leaks before adding bourbon.
• Taste weekly, since 5L barrels age much faster than standard casks.
• Message the seller with any questions before you buy.

Eligible orders are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
