VINTAGE 1955 PHILIPPE FOULON OAK & COPPER WINE CASK W/ GRAPE VINES TASTING CUPS

About this barrel

A vintage 1955 Philippe Foulon oak and copper wine cask is more conversation piece than everyday barware. According to the title, this used set pairs the cask with grape vine details and tasting cups, which makes it a natural centerpiece for a wine room or a collector's cabinet.

What should you check on a vintage oak and copper wine cask?

This piece is more than seven decades old, so the photos and description are your best guide to what's included and how it has held up.

• Count the tasting cups in the photos and confirm the number with the seller.
• Look closely at the copper for patina, dents or repairs.
• Capacity isn't listed, so ask if it matters to you.
• Treat it as decor unless the seller confirms it holds liquid.

For anyone who loves mid-century wine accessories, it's worth a careful look before someone else finds it.
