Antique Wooden Wine Barrels (oak)-LARGE- Pickup ONLY

About this barrel

These antique wooden wine barrels in oak are listed as large and pickup only, priced at $45. If you want a rustic wine barrel for a patio, shop display or wedding backdrop, a vintage oak cask has a kind of character that new reproductions rarely have.

Can an antique oak wine barrel still be used for aging?

Possibly, but the listing doesn't state the condition. Treat it as decor first. Only think about aging in it after you've checked that the staves and hoops are sound and the barrel holds water.

• Pickup only: check the seller's location before you commit, because this item won't be shipped.
• Size: it's described as large, but no capacity is given, so check the photos or ask the seller.
• Quantity: the title says barrels, so confirm whether $45 buys one or more.
• Decor ideas: a side table, a planter base or a rustic bar accent.

Ask the seller how local pickup and payment will work through eBay.
