10L Barrel Cask Wooden Storager For Wine Brandy Whiskey Beer Dispenser Keg

About this barrel

If a 5L cask feels too small, a 10L wooden barrel cask doubles the batch without moving up to a full-size barrel. This new oak dispenser keg for wine, brandy, whiskey or beer is listed at $46.34 by an independent eBay seller.

Is a 10L wooden barrel cask slower to age than a 5L?

Generally, yes. Less wood touches each liter, so the flavor builds more slowly. That gives you more time to stop at the taste you want.

• Soak it with water until the staves swell and the cask holds.
• The listing doesn't state a char or toast level, so check the description.
• A full 10 liter keg is heavy, so pick a sturdy spot for it.
• It works for serving homebrew or a party-size batch of wine.
