Mini Oak Barrel 5L Aging Barrel Oak Wooden Keg Whiskey Dispenser Wood

About this barrel

This mini oak barrel 5L wooden keg works as both a whiskey dispenser and a home aging barrel. It's listed new at $35.00 by an independent eBay seller. Keep it on the bar to pour from, or let a spirit rest inside and pick up oak flavor.

Does a 5L mini oak barrel change the taste of whiskey quickly?

Yes. A small wooden keg has more wood surface per liter than a large cask, so the flavor and color can change within weeks. Taste regularly if you store liquor in it.

• Swell before use: fill it with water and wait for any leaks to close.
• Dispenser hardware: check the listing for tap, bung and stand details.
• Beyond whiskey: rum, brandy and tequila also do well in oak.
• Coverage: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A practical pick if you want to pour and age from the same keg.
