Vintage Small Oak Wood Beer Keg Brass Banding & Stand Made In Italy

About this barrel

Made in Italy, this vintage oak beer keg with brass bands sits on its own stand and brings old-world tavern style to a shelf, bar cart or kitchen counter. It's a used piece, listed on eBay for $85.00.

Is this small wooden keg better for decor or for drinking?

Most buyers will use a vintage keg like this for display. The listing doesn't give the capacity, and age can dry out the staves, so read the condition notes before you plan to fill it with beer or wine.

• The brass bands stand out against the oak. Check the photos for tarnish or wear.
• Ask the seller about the size and whether a tap or bung comes with it.
• It looks good next to a beer stein collection or other rustic bar decor.
• Dust it with a dry cloth. Don't soak a display piece unless you plan to use it.
