Wooden Wine Barrel - Oak Barrel Rustic Storage Aging Tank

About this barrel

If you make wine at home and want a used oak wine barrel for aging, this rustic storage tank is listed pre-owned at $90.00. A used barrel has already released its strongest tannins, so it usually adds softer oak notes to wine over time.

What size is this wooden wine barrel?

The title doesn't say. Look for the capacity or dimensions in the item description, or message the seller before you buy. Barrel size changes how fast wine takes on oak flavor.

• Best fit: reds and fortified wines that do well with a light oak flavor.
• Hygiene: plan to clean and sanitize it thoroughly before you fill it.
• Leak test: fill it with water first and watch the seams.
• Condition: used barrels vary a lot, so look closely at every photo.
