20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Give your home bar a focal point with an oak barrel liquor dispenser that also does real aging. This new 20-liter vertical barrel comes with a faucet and bracket, and the seller lists it for $95.50.

Does an oak barrel liquor dispenser keep spirits fresh?

Oak breathes, so spirits slowly change and a small share evaporates over time. That's the point when you're aging. If you want storage with no change at all, glass is better. Think of the barrel as a living part of the bar.

• Pour from the faucet for tastings or rounds at a party.
• Top it up partway with fresh spirit to keep a rolling blend going.
• Wipe up drips quickly to protect your bar top.
• Check the listing photos for the finish and color.

Soak it with water before the first fill so the wood seals.
