1.5L Oak Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Decanter for Wine Spirits Beer Liquor Brown

About this barrel

Pouring straight from wood looks great on a bar cart. This 1.5L oak whiskey barrel dispenser also works as a decanter for wine, spirits, beer or liquor. It's new, brown, and listed at $79.80 by an independent eBay seller.

Can a barrel decanter also age liquor?

The listing is filed under aging. A 1.5 liter barrel gives the liquid a lot of oak contact, so flavor can change quickly. The title doesn't mention charring, so check the description to see whether the inside is charred or bare wood.

• Fill it with water for a day or more to swell the staves before adding spirits.
• Check the photos for tap and stand details.
• Taste regularly, because small barrels work fast.
• A good size for a countertop or home bar shelf.
