New Woodford Reserve 20 Liter Charred Oak Aging Barrel THOUSAND OAKS BARREL Co.

About this barrel

Moving up to a 20 liter charred oak aging barrel means bigger batches and a slower, steadier pull of oak flavor. This new listing names both Woodford Reserve and Thousand Oaks Barrel Co. in the title and is priced at $149.99.

Is a 20 liter barrel better than a small one for aging bourbon?

It ages more slowly than a 3–5 liter barrel because there's less wood contact per liter. Many home aging fans like that for a more balanced result.

• Ask the seller to explain how the two brand names in the title relate.
• Check the listing for char level, bung and spigot details.
• Swell it with water before filling. At 20L, a leak is costly.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Plan for space: a full medium barrel is heavy, so pick a sturdy spot first.
