Mini Whiskey Barrel Keg Whisky Cask 27 fl oz Alcohol Dispenser Dashing Fine Gift

About this barrel

A mini whiskey barrel keg sized at 27 fl oz is an easy way to give one bottle's worth of spirit some time in real oak at home. This new listing calls it an alcohol dispenser and a gift piece, so it works on a home bar shelf and for small aging experiments.

How fast does a mini whiskey barrel keg age spirits?

Fast. A small barrel puts more wood in contact with each ounce, so taste every few days instead of waiting months.

• Swell it first: fill it with water and let the staves tighten before you add whiskey or rum.
• Char level: the listing doesn't say, so check the description or ask the seller.
• Dispenser hardware: look at the photos to see whether a tap and stand come with it.
• Gift idea: good for birthdays, Father's Day or a groomsman's home bar.
