Vintage Ron Matusalem Rum Wooden Tabletop Barrel Decanter Dispenser Stand Copper

About this barrel

A vintage Ron Matusalem rum barrel decanter brings old-school back-bar character to a home bar, man cave or rum collection. This used tabletop piece pairs an oak barrel with copper and sits on its own dispenser stand, so it works as both a serving piece and a display item.

Is a vintage Ron Matusalem rum barrel decanter safe to pour from?

That depends on its history and condition, and only the seller's photos and description can show you those. Many collectors keep branded barrels for display. If you plan to fill it, ask the seller about leaks and the tap first.

• Check the listing for capacity and overall dimensions, since neither is stated here.
• Zoom in on the copper and oak for wear, cracks or missing parts.
• Ask whether the tap is original and still works.
• A used barrel that has sat dry may need a soak with water before it holds liquid.
