Vntg Wooden Wine/Whiskey Dispenser Keg/Barrel with Spout Stand Cups Brass Rings

About this barrel

Some bar pieces are bought for the story as much as the pour. This used vintage wooden whiskey dispenser keg is listed as a set: an oak barrel with a spout, a stand, matching cups and brass rings around the staves. Use it for wine or whiskey service, or as a conversation piece on a sideboard.

Is a vintage oak dispenser keg safe to fill again?

Older barrels can dry out and shrink. Study the photos and ask the seller about leaks. Soak it with water before trusting it with spirits.
