Mini Wooden Whiskey Barrel - Keg Dispenser with Stand 27 Fl Oz - Bar Decor

About this barrel

A 750 mL bottle is about 25.4 fl oz, so this mini wooden whiskey barrel dispenser at 27 fl oz holds a full fifth with a little room to spare. It's new, comes with a stand per the title, and is listed at $39.70.

Is a 27 fl oz mini wooden whiskey barrel dispenser for aging or decor?

The title leans toward bar decor, but it's listed with aging barrels. If you plan to age in it, ask the seller whether the inside is charred or treated.

• Prep step: a water soak helps the wood seal before you add whiskey.
• Serving style: a keg-style dispenser on a stand makes pouring at the bar easy.
• Compact size: fits a bar cart, shelf or desk.
• Taste early: barrels this small can change the flavor quickly.
