Vintage small, handcrafted decorative wooden barrel or keg resting

About this barrel

Not every barrel needs a job. This vintage small handcrafted decorative wooden barrel, or keg, is a used oak piece meant to be looked at. The title says it is resting, probably on a base or cradle, which you can check in the photos.

Where does a small decorative barrel look best?

Anywhere you want the warmth of wood, like a bookshelf, a mantel, a kitchen windowsill or a wine room shelf next to full-size bottles.

• Handcrafted: handmade pieces often have small variations, so look closely at the photos.
• Size: not given. Look for clues to scale in the pictures.
• Condition: used and vintage. Check for loose hoops, dry wood or chips.
• Care: keep it away from heaters and strong sun so the wood doesn't crack.
