What does open box mean for a whiskey barrel dispenser?

Usually it means the packaging has been opened. Why it was opened and whether every part is there depends on the seller. Read the condition notes and check the photos for the tap, stand and bung.

• Leak test: fill it with water first to swell the oak and find any drips.
• Quick results: a barrel this small adds oak fast, so taste often.
• Serving use: handy for parties when you want a spirit on tap.
• Gift angle: if you plan to wrap it, confirm the box is included.
